Nice pair of jags. Hopefully they'll mate and spawn. I had my female lay her eggs for the first time about month ago right when I got my male. They never spawned so ever since then both of my jags have been on the opposite side of the tank. First it was the female who was scared of the male. Now the male is scared of the female and at the same time I've been trying to convert my male to eating pellets. They're both in a 100 gallon all by themselves. Hopefully you'll have been luck than me.

Ohh and the name of your jags. Maurice Jones Drew. Running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars. :-)

Thanks, I've heard differing opinions as well, but so far so good, trying to get the gar off of live, I work with a lot of seafood at work, so they're all getting spoiled in the process, I've been stealth feeding him pellets in bits of salmon and shrimp, still won't take just pellets though.

I wish the bar I cook at has more seafood, we have battered fish and shrimp and mussels, crab, clam and whitefish for the ciapino (not sure if that's spelled correctly) so all the good stuff is off limits. Ciapino is a REALLY good soup, easy to make and delicious

We do a bouillabaise, so I always have good stuff.all the shellfish we have , has made me think of getting a fahaka in the past
