My smaller two did the same thing for the first week. Having the silver dollars as dithers really helped.

Update pics with divider. The female's color is ever increasing with Hikari Cichlid Gold. The male (or so I believe - haven't been able to catch him to vent him and be sure) eats like a pig. The smaller male is healing in qt from one awesome butt whoopin'.

Thanks. The male and female are doing super gill flares through the divider. I think I might pull the divider soon and see if they pair up.

Thank you. I have never seen a single Freddie for sale locally in 20 years here. I don't think its a common fish in the trade. The 'Rio Danto' strain is the most stunning Freddie variant IMO.
