Beautiful fish, I DOUBT they will mess with the spiny pleco. I may be incorrect, but I DOUBT it will take them long to realize it has spines.

and the second feeder I gave them was gone not long after I wrote the last post.

I am trying to move away from feeders but it was something that I had to see them eat. I didn't think that they would have ate as fast as they did. But once my feeders are gone I think the only time I'm getting feeders for any of my fish anymore is on special occasions. Then I'll have an extra 75 gal setup ready for more fish lol.

Very nice pick ups. Around here at one LFS you woukld have payed 80$ easy for one of those. At another LFS down here you would have payed right at what you did. My bad no you wouldn't have I would have though LOL!!!!! Very nice and as far as male female. I say one of each but I get jags wrong a lot.
getting managuense on pellets can sometimes be difficult because they are highly piscivorious. Stay after it, it is better for them in the long run.
mine are trained on sinkin carnivore pellets and floatin bio gold hikari pellets. i give them feeders like once a month if even but also i am tryin to breed guppies and once i get my 29 up and running i will prolly get like 6 convicts and try to breed them as feeders because i feel as if the fish love it when u give them live as a treat but not as a staple otherwise i notice a large amount of aggresion when i dont give them feeders for more than a month. also in my opinion i think it is healthy for the fishs mind and feeds their primal instincts
