Hey C.B. Some advise on keeping a heavily stocked cichlid tank such as yours. Go with no decor at all. By keeping the cichlids from establishing territories there will be fewer aggression problems. Also you will need to keep up on water changes, nitrates will rise quickly in your tank. Also with all the biofiltration activity going on in your tank keep an I on your pH, if it seems to drop between water changes you'll need to buffer your water to provide a stable pH.

You will find, despite what many will say, those FMs will hang just fine with the cons.

news for u all, got rid of my male FM and now focusing on my 5 cons right now next is my livebearers im gona get rid of.. right now im focusing on the smaller con with much more blue on her.

Maybe i mis-undestood earlier but didn't he just say they ate some feeder guppies and a goldfish? I think he ment they platies didn't get eating (but i can't really figure out how the goldfish did and the platies didn't)

Stop giving him a hard time, he is finally doing a lot better then before. He has gotten rid of fish that will outgrow his tank and he has something he enjoys.

Good job, you've come a long way CB.

feeder guppies and platies are different in my part of the woods.

the feeder gups were less then an inch and the goold fish WAS killed, dont believe me if u dont want to but im tellin the truth.

convicts are alot more aggressive and killers then u think
