i just bought this pike today, its about 5-6 inches.can anyone tell me what species it is? and are pikes rare to find in your LFS? thx

possibly a johanna. tough to say cuz the bag pictures arnt super clear and he's probably very stressed. maybe more pics when he's settles down for awhile. nice pike tho. crenicichla are the best. 
ok ill take some pics later after he's settled in. he's changed from the dark color in the pics to a light greyish white with a black stripe on the side of his body. red line along the top of his dorsal fin and red eyes. the tank at the lfs said he will reach 8inches. are pikes very rare? i paid a pretty penny for this guy compared to other fish iv bought. more pics to come.

u guys in the states get all kinds of crazy deals on fish stuff. up here its very hard to find good deals on used tanks and fish ect... but i still love where i live

if it is a johanna are they very rare to find in lfs? how much would a 5-6 inch one normaly sell for?
