to be honest, i'm not sure what ones i still have in there and what died. it was so green that i hadnt seen them in a while, and then i lost a few and didnt pay attention to which ones :irked: i was just upset.

anyhow, i have some white ones, some platinum ones, a few orange, a few yellow, and some black and silver ones, and a few "mutts" that my girlfriend picked out (they look more like shubunkin than koi, but they're just lower grade koi)

Nice!!!

Is there a bottom drain/bung that you can use for fast water changes? Run that turd water to any perennials/shrubs in the yard and they will love you.

Nice pickup! It's going to be a great setup for koi, make sure you keep it well filtered.

Thanks everyone!!!

Unfortunately there is no drain in the bottom.
I just spin the PVC so instead of pumping into the filter it throws the water about 10 feet out into the yard
It takes about 15 minutes to lower it 50%, so i just run a smaller pump into the filter to keep circulation going while i'm draining it.
Then I fill it back up from the hose, add my dechlor, and reconnect the pvc.

we do have some tomato plants, and i could probably use the pond water instead of the hose ... but i cant bring myself to eat something that i know was swimming in fish crap :nilly:
