Thanks-

It has the 5.0 (302)-It is in ecellent shape-Showing a few rust spots-But manageable.....

The body style is ugly as hell-But the condition over road that one.....Overall it willmake a nice street car..

Nice project yourself-Got pics?
(I am in the middle of a 4 year restore with a 69 Elky SS) will be completed right before winter this year...

That's cool mine has a 302 as well. I'm probably going to make it into a 347 stroker. I don't know, we'll see what happens. I've only had it for a few months and really haven't had time to do much to it. My new problem is finding a place to work on it. It's at my parents place but now they're selling it so I have to find a few place to keep it. :nilly:

The only pic I have right now is from the day I bought it. I know it looks like hell but that's because all the trim is off it because they guy I bought it from was working on the body.

It's going to look more like this when it's done. I'm not sure what color I'm going to paint it but I'm thinking Shelby blue with white racing stripes. Good luck with that El Camino!

that body style would make a perfect sleeper. leave it stock looking except for a mini-tub and a monster engine!

oh and i love the interior! dont change it at all!

Thats a damn nice start man-
Remember though-Onced it gets to the restored part-The more documentation on it the better..Take a zillion pics of everything and all aspects of it man-It will pay off in the end to have that documentation.....

I have been reading about that 347 stroker upgrade and here it's pretty darn easy and only cost a few bucks more than to just rebuild stock or slightly modified even. And the performance is suppose to be far superior as well....
It seems like the smart choice for sure....But then again it all depends on what one ends goals are also......
Tough decisions.......LOL

A Mustang II ! Sweet.

And always remember, no matter what other owners say, "A Mustang II is a Mustang, too!"

Love the plaid interior! Glad you got one with a 5.0 too!
