So this week I have started a new adventure. Killifish.

I was kind enough to recieve a group of these from a friend who was clearing out some tanks, turns out the 4 that were promised turned to 8 since they had some babies in the meantime. So I have a few youngsters to raise too, challenge accepted!

Will let the pictures do the talking!

Gold female:

Younger male:

Bigger, shy male

Regular female

This tank isn't permanent. Will be setting up a different 60l lower down on the shelf, when summer comes they need it cool, and I will hopefully do some sort of biotope theme!

Hello; Good for you. Those fish are ones I never got around to but always wanted to. Are those native to Africa?

Yes they are :)
These are a captive bred strain, so no idea exactly where they originated from

Thanks all. Unfortunately the gold female passed away, but the others may carry the gold gene. Fingers crossed!

First I recieved some otocinclus catfish yesterday. Lovely and diligent little cleaners to say the least!IMG_20180902_191206.jpg

But more importantly! My first home grown fry is here! I'm so happy, just noticed the fella tonight :D
