yep, it runs the tank along with the widebar. it has a massive piece of wood all to itself and god help any other plec that decides to pay it a visit!

the widebar is massive, use to keep quite a few dats with him but he decided he'd prefer to be on his own so all they are in my other tank. actually very placid for such a big predator but probably cos he's so dominant compared to the others that he has no need to show who's boss.

Haven't posted many updates recently but had quite a few changes to accommodate these new guys and gals. Got 5 massive gold nuggets, 3 males with the biggest at 13" and the other 2 over 11" and the 2 females at 9" and 11". These are in my main tank with a few other big L numbers, my widebar, schoms, few polys and the tig. They've settled in well and fingers crossed one day they will breed.

They are not the easiest to photo so more will be on the way when i can get better ones. Big thanks to Ark Aquatics for bringing some in plus to Bill Brown for custom making some slate caves for me.

probably better to do some research and gain an idea of what you're speaking about before deciding to make a statement like that. Wanna say that my suttoni is actually a common while you're there? Just because you've never seen 12" gold nuggets doesn't mean there is not such a thing. And by the way in the pic with the widebar the plec in the middle under the wood is an L14.
