You can tell the difference. This is my new baby marbled...she's around 6-7".

See the marbling between the spots. It's there, now we just have to hope it gets more defined.

Oh I see okay thanks. I didn't think the marbling showed up until they were a bit bigger so I was assuming motoros and MM looked the same as pups. Thanks!

I think it depends on the collection point. The below ray is wild caught from Jeff Rapps. I'm thinking he's from Peru. But definitely a much darker base.

Blimey, that one is almost the polar opposite of my marble as she has a very light base with dark rings and I believe her parents or the parents of the parents were from peru.
