you need to find BLACK WORMS not blood worms or red worms from a bait shop( smaller than night crawlers)if he doesn't eat those then you're in trouble. They also like very warm (85-86 degree), very clean water (twice a week 50% water changes). He does look skinny.....GOOD LUCK with the ray!!!

I agree try worms from the bait shop, my Rays really love frozen krill if they could they would come running when i feed them. I would recomend some salt for your tank and a temp of 84-85degs that will clean up almost everything.I'm at work right know but when i get home i will write down the atibacterial medicine i have. and yes ive used it with rays before. I'll let you know.
ya afew i've boughten have eaten Red worms to start off with then moved on to frozen krill just fill him up so his back by his tail is humped up that kinda shows he's full. he'll do fine and man i can't wait to see your other tank, i mean my wife will help me clean my tanks but i have to stop at 200 gallons and i would rather flood the basement.
