nice rescue, good job. but w/their max size and growth rate, i think u should start to look for a new home for it soon. like donate it to an aquarium or something.
Oh if you haven't heard...those Pacu's get really big...You're gonna need to have a huge tank...better start looking now...OMG...forget the fact that you rescued him from a small tank in a basement.
Those are just tired comments...and I am weary of those that have nothing more to say then..."you need a bigger tank".

not to mention AGAIN that we are going to be upgrading substantially in the next year. i couldnt sleep another night knowing this fish was in a 55 gallon tank in a dark basement.
please do not post youre negativity on this thread. i know how big they get and i am always willing to upgrade. if i wanted info on this fish i would post a thread asking "what is the minimum size tank for a pacu?" i am a knowledable fishkeeper and know exactly what i have.
any positive or supportive posts are more than welcome!
