My New Rio Baluarte Beani

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Don't be afraid to live on the edge. I have a wild pair, that I gave only pellets and shrimps and another pair pellets and earthworms from day one. The pair that ate the worms are twice as big as the others and both pairs are doing fine. Will gather some pics of both later...

JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!!!

prettyricky you are def living on the edge! Not what I'd recommend. Unless you have HEAVY filtration but even then....

Not necessarily true my friend... We all know that each individual fish can and will act differently then what we have read and been told... I'm not telling anyone to do what I say, but I'm just suggesting that you can give than something other than a low protein diet with great results.. They also say that you have to keep them solo, but I in fact have mine in a community tank with the likes of some Micros, Nebs, Godmani and True Parrots. I have another pair in with the likes of some Severum, and Jack demps. So all I'm saying is that every rule can be broken or bent and that they're no set of rule's the goven how one keeps hes are her fish. Just guide lines.... So the choice is your's, and remember also that everything doesn't work for everybody....

A picture is worth a thousand words:
