Try to sex these guys... What do you think are the sexes for A - B - C - D?

(A) Probably female....

(B) 50/50 female

(C) Almost certainly female

(D) Still small but could be male

I dont know but that is one the reddest eyes i've ever seen a freshwater cichlid besides some of the bass. Nice trimacs!

Awesome I will have to post pics of mine, I have 6 Naraja F1's also but from a different vendor. mine are smaller but the do have the very visible 3 spots though. No color yet, they are only 2".

D looks like your only male to me. The others have black in the dorsal & more compact & fat. D is the more elongated of the group. It won't take long for the sexes to be distinguishable. From the groups I've kept, the males greatly outpaced the females in growth rate

I heard that "Some black in the Dorsal can be present in males" Although 75% of the time it's pretty sure fire way of telling the fish is female. (D) is actually the smallest specimen. I'm hoping no black dots will appear as it gets larger though.
