One of my favorites, when i first found out about this species it was classified as psedodorus niger, i believe the new name on this species is oxydorus niger. A solid choice, eats well and super easy to keep and what a cool fish! Covered in spines and thick boney structure, truely a dinosaur of a fish.
He was picking at some night crawlers last night but he acted scared of them. He would bite then when the worm wiggled he would take off across the aquarium.
