My New Rose Queen's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Are his eyes orange/red?? I was always told the white eyed ones were infertile.
I don't have any experience breeding them but had a monster male in the old days...

they do look young, maybe < 1 year old..so I would not count him out until multiple attempts have been made without success.

they are beautiful fish but I hope you have a big tank!
Mine was all of 15" after roughly 3 1/2 years....

Now I have been looking at some pictures of rose queens online and came across these pictures of some a red monkey flowerhorn and super red monkey flowerhorn. To me they look a lot like rose queens. uploadfromtaptalk1393461218589.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1393461240806.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1393461260573.jpg

Yes to me they look very closely related ... except for the RM/SRM color I don't see the difference but I'm sure someone will educate us :)
