my rtg's are eating pellets now.......sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!
I always throw some floating pellets in juvenile tanks in the farm. Not surprising to see that yours is taking some pellet now bud.;):naughty::grinno: But there are always cases like juvenile fish refuse pellet out of the blue even when they have been taking pellet in the farm.:(

No problem. I always got some of those hikari cichlid bio gold pellett around my desk and I find young fish are the easiest to pellet train.;)

And yes silver is one of the easist to pellet train. So far I have successfully trained alot of silvers in the house to take pellet as main diet. And my recent mini com of banjar reds as well.

goestonemoa, very nice RTG's! It'll be a great journey watching them develop! It's mind blowing how the look now and the progression of their colors to adulthood, enjoy it, it seems to go by fast!

coments ...can anybody see the difference or am i crazy

nah you are not crazy. Just a matter of fish settling down nicely in their tank. But I don't understand why red background?:D No wonder you see red on the finnages.

Anyway, if possible change to dark colour like black. Should give you very nice contrast and pro look.;)

From one of the pic, I can see one of the RTG is gonna develop into a HBRTG.

cool im glad im not crazy...but the red background was a crazy idea i had to develope the red on the fish :ROFL:and i plan t change it but it will be hard cause i painted it and its real close to the wall:grinno: i know it was silly
but people like it when they see it...and yah i totally knew it was the background on the fins:ROFL:
im going to figure out a plan of action to get it off of there without bugging the fish
if i cant get it off will the color still develope the same when i upgrade the lighting and keep on for 24 hours and keep up the supreme diet?
