Female peacocks are really drab in color so unless this is a female juiced up on hormones, I would say it's a male.

Im guessing hormones as well if your uncle saw her doing the nasty. Sweet fish but pretty pricey.

If this fish is a female then it is either hormoned like crazy or some type of line bred tank strain. Some times hybrids are used to add color to the females. then bred back into the regular strain. Either way I wish my female peacocks would color up like that.

i remember there used to be a seller on aquabid that always had these and a few other peacocks with both males and females showing color, can't remember the his name but it began with a w. a few people on other forums have purchased fish from him and everyone said they weren't horomoned but line bred to get colors like this.

edit: Here's the seller, he don't have any listed right now but does have a few flower horns.
