4litres of Eheim Substrat Pro on the bottom
Separated by course sponge
2 Litres of Eheim Substrat then 2-3 litres of Ehfi mech and just some bio balls at the top.
I have a wier overflow and that is filled with bioballs and 2 japanese filter mats. I'll take a photo of this later tonight and post it up.
I know alot of people are skeptical about Eco bio block, but i thought i should just give it a shot.
I will still conduct my waterchanges like normal after my testing of EBB.
I bought the EBB yesterday and had it sitting in a bucket of water (as per its directions) I am going to test for Nitrate, i don't know if i can be bothered testing for ammonia or nitrite. We'll see...
Then im going to add the Eco Bio blocks in and test the water every week for nitrate.
During this time I will not conduct any water changes.
So it will be interesting to see the results.
