Marble motoro and normal motoro have a massive size difference but still both motoro
I have also seen very small mature motoro which grew massive so just because a ray matures at a small size means nothing
Right now I have a mature Leo x bd at under 10inch and that's not a small ray
I never said they are the same but do look similar
I also think pearl and motoro are the same so take what I think with a pinch of salt
It seams people who pay top money for their rays don't like them being labeled as a cheaper ray ie pearl as motoro this ray as scobina hot tiger as flower
When rays do have the cheaper name they try to jazz the name up a bit like super AAA GRADE pearl or xingu sp
Like the rays for what they are not a flash name someone has given them
The scobina and sp xingu might be related. But it dosent mean that its the same species. And they defenatly are not.
Same goes for pearl and motoro. They might be closely related but claming them to be the same species is a bit much...
At what size a fish matures can say alot about its maximum size. Read up on ray and shark biologi if you dont believe me...
A hybrid of two sepcies that is mature at 10" proves nothing. -.-
using motoros and marbles is a really bad example. There is no proof of all motoros being the same species.
