just got this guy. picked him up at the train station. so far he is staying under the sand.

Do pet stores call these things flounder? I was under the impression they are salt water?

no, this one is freshwater. some call them flounder, but they are really a solefish. flounders have pectoral fins

have not seen him eat yet. i have been offering frozen bloodworms, but no luck.. however, there is a pretty sizable colony of cherry shrimp in the tank. i am hopping that he is hunting them at night
