MY NEW SYNODONTIS ANGELICUS

I wanted to post a couple pictures of my new synodontis angelicus. I jus got this guy last week, slowly starting to get comfortable and is coming out alot more now then when i first got him. VERY COOL FISH. I collect syno's and this is one of my favourites so far, hers the pic's. Enjoy, I know I am. Lol
P.S. Sorry, the picture was taken at night, right after the lights were out for the night. It was the only time I saw him/her for the first week or so. Now, like I said, he/she is starting to come out when lights are on, so I'll update asap. Thanks for looking

Nice! I have one too. This is my favorite Synodontis. Mine hides a lot also and only comes out at night.

How long have you had yours?? do you have any other syno's in the tank?? I got 3 others in same tank, 2 petricola and 1 multipunctatus. They all hang out together in same cave. lol I think thats why mine is getting braver and coming out during the day. I plan on getting one more angelicus and moving the multi into my african tank with the other 9 multipunctatus i have growing out. So 2 petricola, 2 angelicus and my other "community" memebers. Lol Im addicted to synodontis catfish. It literally takes ALL of my self control to stop myself from buying at least one of every species I have seen for sale.

I've had mine two years now, I bought it from a guy that had it for 10 years. It's about 6" now and living in my 360. Good luck with your Syno collection. I hope you get every one someday

How much doi they go for around there?? They are 50 bucks for a 3inch one around here in Ontario, Canada

where do you get your fish, where i live i've seen 3 inch sino species from 15-30 bucks, I'm in southern ontario

Im in hamilton. Ihave seen them cheaper too, at like 30 and 40 dollars. I shopped around for a bit and got a f1 @ 3+ inches for almost 60 with taxes. I would rather pay the little extra and get quality then pay less and get a diseased or unhealthy fish that might die or worse, infect my tanks. The ones I saw for cheap didnt look half as good as mine does. In my experience in fishkeeping, you dont question a high price, you question what you are getting for so cheap!!

If it was $50 I would snap it up immediately! I pay at least that for my Raphael Catfish.

The cheapest I have found is $450, but that was on the other side of the country or 2 for $1200 closer to where I live. Which I don't have that kind of money right now.
