does the GT get along well with the others? cactus pleco,do they get big? plecos will eat eggs if your planning to breed the syns.i would add some larger dithers,silver dollars are tough,some larger barbs maybe? i had filament barbs that looked great,were not easy to find though
 
  • For the most part yes. He is the biggest, and it was his tank, but he backed somebody into a corner and they mostly ripped his lips off. I have him by himself right now recovering, nothing a little time, salt and fresh water couldn't fix. I am going to try it again here soon and see how it goes. He is too good looking of a fish to have to live by himself, so I hope it works out. If the syns ever spawn I will re-evaluate the role of the cactus pleco, right now it is on the small size, but he "can" get to 14' or so. Dithers might be my best bet due to the size of the tank, I just don't want to go the silver dollar route.

A quick update: Here are some pictures of some new guys I brought in. They are showing great color for the size (2in) and are from a different source then my other two. I can't wait to see these guys start to grow.
