Hey everyone, just bringing my thread over here to reach a more accurately appreciative audience. I will be posting updates as she progresses under captivity. Still trying to coax her to hand feed, but she is already munching bloodworms from my forceps.
Very nice, just watch out she doesn't wither with the bloodworm feedings. I would try chopped nightcrawlers or live blackworms if she does. or try frozen mysis shrimp. though I've heard they take to pellets much more readily then other species do. GL with her.. never see those around here and just can't convince myself to order online.
from what I've read, they get about a foot or so. The prices are pretty steep lol. Depending on where you are, I'm sure you could find a very good price at around 90-110. If you get them wholesale, they would be much less: 40-80 I suppose
Hey everyone, I know the updates have been slow, but you know how spiny eels act when you first bring them home...Anywho, I went to feed them all tonight and guess who started hand feeding? I was a twit and didnt think to have my camera ready (since feedings have pretty much been me dropping some worms down in front of here hideaway). I'll snag a video of her tomorrow when I feed (if she's hungry).
ok she was all out and about after the water change today and so I just went back and grabbed a heap of bloodworms. You can just skip the first 35 seconds or so, it was me adjusting my camera and trying to find her lol
