sorry for the late reply; haven't been on in a while..mine cost about 100 dollars. And since they are pretty much all wild caught, they prefer a lake Tanganyika biotope with hard, alkaline water.

Can't find these for sale anywhere, I want an eel in my cichlid tank, I've got tire tracks in another tank but I'm not sure if they're compatible
