Good to see you finally got that sump built! Have you drilled the glass yet?

Go back to post 178 lol

I also got some more thing to plumb the tank. I got it all in 1"ID PVC. I didn't have time to do anything yet. but I got a interesting idea for the "spraybar" for the top of the trickle. So I can distrubute water semi evenly. Hopefully by next weekend I can have something more to show.

I meant the big tank, but I just realized it has probably already been drilled. :D

If you are looking for a more community style tank, I would totally suggest discus. They aren't as hard to keep as they used to be because most of the fish are captive and raised in different water parameters than the original wild caught. They come in so many colors, love to school, and grow to be about 8-10" in diameter. You just have to be careful of what you put with them, no barbs or aggressive plecos etc. I wasnt convinced that they were going to be the best for our 125 gal, but now i am a diehard fan. We are going to add 3 more to our big tank in a few weeks, I cant wait!

discus are great looking fish but I don't think doing a discus tank this big would work. I have not seen any for sale around me for a good price. And if I did a dicus tank it would be smaller like a 55. not 585 lol. I am thinking of doing something like this.

1 motoro
2Pbass (not sure which)
1TSN (not sure yet)

And that's all the farther I have got. lol But the only thing that I will have is the motoro. I want some kinda cat but i'm not sure which deffinitly not a RTC. and I know the TSN get big two but I have to look into all of that.
Other things I think would look cool but don't know about compatiblity are

Dovii
red hooks
some misc. L#s
CK
Aro ( but I don't like silvers b/c the drop eye)
Dats

but i'm not sure lol I'll have this tank running with nothing in it for awhile b/c I can't decide. Once it's running I'll have alot of homework to do on what to stock. I know Peanut Wants me to do a CA/SA tank. But i'm not sure I might be doing some moving around and make my 125 a CA/SA tank and tank out the L375 and move him to the big tank.

A little Pricey, but they are gorgeous...

i dont care how limited on funds you may be ... when you have a 585 either sell it or stock it with some BAD *** fish !!!

* on a related note i would argue that a big TSN with nice stripes looks just as good as a tig
