Thanks for the comments,

yeah i know i will need another tank in the future but im hoping to keep them in this one for as long as possible as the new tank, filter, lighting etc set me back a heap of cash.

I hear you on the costs and in no way was I trying to rain on yer parade. I also have those fish in our stocklist and love the colors and different character each one adds to the whole.

I think your tank looks great but have to point out that some have posted here that no one should give a heads up for potential future problems. Be Sure in less than a year you will have some and that is why I suggested you consider rehoming some of them. How do I know this ... I as well as most here made this same mistake and in less time than I planned needed to upgrade or get rid of the fish I grew to accept as pets.

Kadango's are open swimmers get large and like to pace, that is just their nature, and fossies will hit 12" in 18 months or close to it so if you decide to keep those at the least you should start preparing for a new tank. Please do not read any more into my remarks, I never meant to come accross as criticism.

No worries;) I meant to meantion that this would not be a permanent tank in the original post but must have forgot. In future i will once again get a bigger tank ( this is my 3rd tank now) but i should think they will be fine in this tank for quite some time and what a great tank it is, the glass is much thicker than any of my prevouse tanks and is real solid. Ill definatly get tanks from G&J again.

Pandamania,

Thanks for the comments mate and yes the stand is homemade and could hold well over 100kg if not more as i not only stood on it but jumped on it too lol

Ill soon be making a wooden roof/lid for the tank with a hinged canopy style door at the front, the roof will not only finish off the look but will also keep the noise down from the spray bar lol.

Thanks for the comments and kind words everyone. Ill post a few more pics and maybe a vid soon.

Cheers-

Darren
