How are you heating and humidifing the tank? No in dart frogs as any other dart frog keeper will be able to tell you fake plants will NOT replace live ones. Darts use and interact with plants in fascinating ways and you will be depriving yourself of observing those and or frogs of life quality. Non spiny bromeliads are specially important for shelter, water sorces and as a place to deposit egggs. Sorry but the habitat you created for them is lacking many natural fectures normal to this species and your putting your tank looks above your frogs well being. A LITLE MORE RESERCH ON YOUR ANIMAL´S NEEDS WOULDNT HURT!devder1;4527775; said:can u plz explain what its lacking, i dont want to end up with dead frogs, wouldnt fake plants work similarly to live ones, i am not too worried about co2 buildup, the moving water adds a little circulation
Im shure Kearth hasnt showed up yet because she is tyerd of dealing with situations like this. Thankfully your frogs are still healty but I can assure you that this is not one species that can take much non constructive care and you will be able to get away with it, when they are not getting what they need they go down hill FAST.
If you want your tank to be able to sustain dart frogs you need to do several changes FAST, Im not going to discuss every single one of them here, you have MANY resources available online on how a dart setup should be made. I also can sugest you to email good menber here Kearth and hopefully she will be able to give you great advice.
