Here's my two pennies...I'm not sure how big a full grown Dovii can grow to but I have seen some pretty big glass rammers so I would go for the wider tank.

Both are good, 18 inchs wide is really pushing it for a 15+ inch fish so wider is better but both would be fine IMO. If it is a female dovii 8ft is beter but males would probibly get at least 15 inches so 6 foot is better for male. Both could work IMo though.
