Do they eat them the same way they eat insects? Dissolve the inside and suck 'em out?

There is some speculation that feeding mammals to theraphosids can cause problems with moulting, and also with breaking fangs. Apparently too much calcium is not good for them.

A live mouse is no threat to a bird eater. I had a zebra for a while and while I never tried it I'd bet money he could have taken a mouse. Zebra's aren't even as mean as cobalt's and the bird eater is the baddest of the bad. Nice animal man. You had a lot of other spiders?
