very nice.

love the body build and the red undertone in the second pic.

That is a nice looking Texas. How is his temperament and do you have him with any other fish.

I have been looking at one at my local store but i have never kept 1 and i don't know if he will fit in with my other fish.

I have been looking at one at my local store but i have never kept 1 and i don't know if he will fit in with my other fish.

I have him with 2 Oscars ~7", 1 Green Terror ~5-6" , 1 Convict ~2-3", 1 Jack Dempsey ~3", 1 small Jaguar ~1.5-2", and a common Pleco ~3-4". I'd say the Texas is ~6". Temperament seems alright so far, but I just got him earlier today. He's been scoping out territory so far hasn't done any attacking of any of the other fish other than chasing them away from where he's decided to call home. BloodThirsty wanted to get rid of him since he was attacking his Green Terror, so I'm going to be keeping an eye on him over the next few days.

I fed the fish earlier tonight and he did eat with the rest but it was more eating what was coming out of the Oscars gills than actually going up and getting food from the top. So I'd say in the next day he'll be fully acclimated to his new home and I'll see how his personality goes with the other fish. He seems to like to sit in the driftwood and from time to time he allows the Convict to be right next to him and other times he chases him away.

and here are some more or less full tank shots I just took playing around with a higher iso level and a faster shutter speed.

nice coz if i buy one he will go in the 150 gal with my 10" GT, 6" JAG, 6" Gold SEV, 8" Clown Knife, 10" plec, 6" big eyed cat and 3 rainbow chiclids.the only thing that is stopping me is that i think the tank might be getting a bit full.

I've got all of them in a 75 currently, ready and waiting to move so I can setup my 150 and see who goes in the 150 and who will stay in the 75. IMO there's lots of room for all the fish I have but as they get bigger they'd be crowded.
