Yub , this guy is from Albert. He is about 3 inches. I'll wait until he is not stress and ill post some more pix. Albert has about 5 of these guy left, and they are all nice and koky. My wife call my fishes "tumor fish" Cus they has big head.lol Yub this guy is from lee nguyen in Vietnam.

that's not what a kamfa looks like and far from it so dont ever use this fish as a guide for Kamfa standards..

Nice ZZ/FH. But doesnt matter what kind. It's what you like first.

Yeah the strain Tiger Kamfa is more ZZ than Kamfa but has always been labeled as a Kamfa. But then again a lot of whats called Kamfa nowadays isn't Kamfa.

Hex is a another reason I am tired of Flowerhorn right now. Anything that comes from overseas is swarming with worms or parasites and the breeders could care less. Try dosing the food, I didn't have much luck with Prazi.
 
He doesn't want to eat for 4 days already. I'll get some metro and try out after this leasing dose. I had other 2 srd , treated with worm now they grow fast and nice.

Oh man Im sorry to hear he has hex. Funny, my tiger kamfa that I got from albert too had worms and just passed away recently. I tried metro and jungle anti-parasite food, but the worms were growing so fast in his belly he just died so fast :( Stay away from straight prazi cuz right when I put that in my tank, he died and his belly became huge :( If I would do it again, I would just use Seachem Metro (might have to force feed him that or epsom salt) or try API general cure as that has both Metro and a lil prazi.

And I agree with Chris. Almost all of the FHs who come from overseas have worms or parasites. Most of the time its either the breeder feeding them an excessive amount of live food to pump them up + the stress of the trip overseas makes their immune system very weak.

Thank you. I had got so many fish from Albert so far they doing really good, and nice. Sometime u just have an odd ball. He doesn't have a huge belly yet. He just not eating and white poop. I just bought some metro. I'm gonna try . I guess this is part of fish keeping hobby. I'll post his progress. Later. Wish me luck.

My kamfa was done with his second dose of general cure yesterday. I did 30% wc and added some high active mineral. White poop don't come out anymore, but still not active and not eatting at all.he just hide by the heater or corner of the tank.he got really skinny his head is deflated a lot. I try a little of frozen blood worm but still not eatting. I added some more salt and stress coat from api. I'll give it for a week if he is not eatting, then he is not gonna make it. Dose anyone has some advise would be appreciated.uploadfromtaptalk1340166112425.jpg

Dam, sorry to hear hes not improving. The only thing I can suggest now since u already tried metro and prazi, is to force feed him. You can either force feed epsom salt soaked pellets like RD's method, or worse case scenario, an effective last-resort method I heard is to force feed some metro down his throat with a pipette. You might as well try everything you can to save him :( GL and keep us updated.
