My new trimac (Rio Naranjo)

Appearance is a huge gamble. Temperament will be a Spawn of Satan And Will be a Juggernaut in the tank.
And it may be that the Trimacs Just aren't a good match. Do you have access to other females? I ask because my Male Rio Naranjo refused to pair with my Female Rio Naranjo. But immediately paired with my Female Rio Sarabia..... Never know. May just be picky.

I just have my female trimac and female dovii. My trimacs i got them from jeff rapps and since they arrive, they never got along. I beem trying to take the divider once in awhile so they could get used to it. But once the divider goes down. He just go after her. He already beat her up twice really bad. So im gonna keep trying bro and see what happens. If not im just gonna let him breed with the dovii.

We'll if you do the Hybrid.... Those will be some scary intelligence. You will wake up to them turning your home into their own personal aquarium. Getting ready to flood the house and kill everyone. Something like on the movie Gremlins! Be careful what monster you create!!
Just kidding.... Kinda.... Death in a box!!

Latest update - finally got around to swapping out the black sand for play sand. He's looking a lot better now, finally getting the yellow and pink coloration to show. I switched him over to NLS floating pellets recently, so hoping to see even more color soon.

He's right around 7.5" or so now, and is quickly catching up to my festae pair in size even though they're well over 2 and a half years old.
