Bah... I want a regular long finned one so bad!

They are out there... hit up Rich at Infinite Aquatics and see if he plants to bring in more any time soon.

Ask him about albino ones :D

nice to see you back into polys.I have a long finned albino 10 inches that is everyone's favorite even over my platinum's.

I read that you scaled back your collection? Do you regret it at all?

I want an albino LF soo bad! Hopefully you update on those platinums soon :D

It felt weird but I didn't post in the polypterus forum for a couple months... I missed a lot.

Welcome back bro! I knew you would come back.:D What tank are they in? Why did you quit in the first place when you know you couldn't walk away?:grinno: Let me know when you're bored with them again.

I think I went crazy for a while :screwy:

I had just put in all those rocks and stuff in my tank and I really really loved the way it looked, but my polys looked cramped. I was used to seeing them in the 180g with all the floor space to them, so I felt bad.

I should've just taken out some of the rocks, but I really liked how it looked. I moved t hings around, and it's got more space now. Lesson learned :D

Trust me bro, that mistake will never happen again. :D

What is a long fin that fish is beautiful! Is that a special senegal breed ? I have a well matured poly senegal bichir but his tail isnt that sweet. Im sure he's a male too with the nice wide rear fin

Thanks bro, it's a genetic variant, most likely produced in asia. I saw the pic of your fish, and I agree it is male.

How big is that tank also ? Looks like you got some awesome hardware.

Tank is only a 120g (4'x2'x2'), nothing special running on it, just two XP3's, one with a surface extractor attached to the intake.

I used to run two AC110's on the tank too, but it caused too many bubbles. I may add them again though, since lately I keep the water level much higher than I used to.

Here's a full tank shot:

Great looking tank and welcome back...

I will take 191 days in the "How long before a Poly 4 sale thread from ://Serg" pool......

Thanks man :grinno:

I almost forgot, at the time I was also getting into reptiles, and I sold my prize 'keepers' because I went to NARBC....

Maybe I should buy that spider ball female I want before I start my poly collection
