yeah I am pretty jealous of him. If I had that pond and lived there it would be full of filamentosum lol.:D
lol necro ure really obsessed with that catfish that looks like a shark huh (filamentosum) well i can safely say that i havent seen one in a fish shop here...or maybe i just dont recognise them :s i reckon ure tubs will be good enuf to keep them for a couple of years..if not more... u shud go for it then tell me how it goes! :p

Yeah, I will get one as soon as the 4000 gal is complete, might get a pima too, but not sure a 4000 gal would work for life, but this is not my last tank by any means. I plan to build a bigger one in about 5 years. Think a pima could live in a 4000 gal for 5 years?

Ask johnptc lol. Wasn't his tank 5,000 gallons until the recent expansion to 10,000?

yeh but it also depends on many factors such as tankmates...the growth rate of the particular pima and whatnot. but im pretty sure that a filamentosum could survive in a 4000 gal for more than 5 years! they dont grow thattttt quickly after the 3 foot mark just like most other catfish! GO FOR IT!!! :)

Great catfish, they look really nice. One of the better hybrids I have seen.
