My new (unfaded) Red Texas

Looks like a regular Texas to me. I've seen a lot of unfaded red Texas and they look nothing like yours. But then again, it's a hybrid. Actually, I've seen an adult petsmart "red Texas" which kind of looks like yours.

I'm not finding much info on what a blue texas is.

I think blue Texas and green Texas are the carpintis
It does look like a red Texas though, not sure if it will fade or not

This is my Red Texas bought from PetSmart. I'm not sure if it will ever fade, but like you, I think they're beautiful fish.
