just now i got him home 2day with what worth 5 Us dollars
he is cool and i want to try to give him any thing else but flies or crickets ..
do u have any ideas ?? can he eats liver or beefheart ??

Yea, go for butterworms. Also, you can try some waxworms, but go easy on them. You could also try some silkworms if he is big enough.
I'm not too sure about that cage, either.
well that is not his habitat that is just for few days his home is a plywood tank cus am preparing 2 plywood tanks one for the chameleon and one for the Egyptian Uromastyx
so for the food i want sth easy that can be prepared .. !!
like if i put a dead fish in sand would it make worms that is good for him ??
don't for get that the reptiles hobby here in my country is in subzero level so there is many things that is unavailable easily ... simply like food .. !!

Whoa whoa whoa. No sir. Don't do anything like that. You really don't want to be catching wild food for your animals, you can introduce all sorts of parasites or other nasties.
What country are you from? You should try talking with a online dealer, see if they can ship to you.

am from Egypt and importing any live animals to Egypt is not that easy ..
the fish importer have to pay alot to let the fishes pass thru the airport ..
so there is no way for shipping any thing as long as i don't know ppl in the airport that i cann pay them to let it pass ..
so i have to get food from any local source here .. !!
i think i can get earthworn as i do fish with it .. then let it reproduce in a soil environment..

First, this is not a Veiled Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus). It is a female African Chameleon (Chamaeleo africanus). Here is an article about them: http://www.chameleonnews.com/?page=article&id=34
They will not recognize dead prey items. They must be alive. I don't know that earthworms will work either. If you can't buy insects to feed him, you need to catch flies, roaches, crickets and other non-toxic insects for him.
