my new young jack dempseys(octofasciatum)

nice looking fish I would love to get a jack dempsey but no one sells them where i live I have to drive one hour for the nearest fish store and even then the bastards don't sell them i got lucky with a tiger oscar though at petco he looked so unhappy in the small tank so got him and he now loves his new hundred gallon home

dop u have any agression problem with both the zebra and the JD???

cuz hate each other with passion. i had to separate them cuz the JD was getting ripped apart but hes okay in a 60g hospital tank.

nope noo agressionprobs,,they are only small now,,about3" and the zebrax are just 2,5" the zebras start to make a couple already,,and they push the jacks away sometimes,,but the tank is big enoug for now(75 gall),,in a few weeks i gonna put them in a 300 gallontank
got 5 jacks now,,untill they start make a couple,,the other 3 going out,,and the zebras ,,i put them al in the 300
after that i gonna make my 75 gall ready for small ca,,like herotilapia multispinosa,, or archocentrus centrachus

i just got a jd but he is not that colorful yet. nice lookin fish.
