yes lol thats the only problem i think ill get a 6"+ if i get one

Id get one as big as i could if i were you. The larger they are the hardier unless they are really large.

Tom keep an eye out for me would you and let me know if you find another one over the 8" mark, gonna cruise round a few lfs on sunday and see what i can find
thanks

i raised my tig from just over an 1" but the success rate is very small and i did it through a way fellow mfk'r t1karmann recommended to me that was feed it live neons. mine got through up to 100 neons a week for 2 months and that got it up to 7-8" + where it moved onto danio's and then finally it's current food of hikari massivore. it's now around 12-14" and i'd encourage everyone buying one small to do it this way as feeding it on salty foods like prawn or lancefish will usually kill it when small but if you work out the cost of doing that you may as well spend the cash and buy a big one. nowhere near as much fun though!

i like that catfish where did you get him and do you think he would be ok in a tank with a silver arowana a hybrid shovelnose a tiger shovel and a couple of bichirs?

Ye i heard they are very very delicate as babys thats why i got a big one. I am trying not to feed mine prawns and mussles too often and im going to buy a load of massivore for him, if he will accept. Im getting all my fish on sunday im soo excited.:eek::D:D

Thanks, it is an amazing fish and i would deff reccomend it to anyone with the ability to keep one. Those fish sound ok if of a similar size and as long as the aro isnt too agressive.
