Nope...

Update, tank is filled... Well just below the oveflows. It developed a leak when the overflows started to fill up. The leak is in the barbed fitting screwed into the bulkheads. I used Teflon tape and made sure they were snug so I have no clue why they leaked. I will tackle that problem tomorrow and add a 99% full tank pic then. It always seems like things never go as smoothly as you have it all planned out...

Almost a month, and little progress has been made but more problems. I siliconed the fittings into the bulkheads and the are now water tight. During a test run one of the baffles in the wet/dry came unglued, fixed it today (I hope) by attaching acrylic strips on either side with weldon 16.. Next issue can go into the lessons learned category. When I leveled the tank all I had on hand was a 2' level, well that was obviously not good enough. The right hand side overflow is slightly lower than the left side allowing the right side to do 90% of the flow. I plan on adding a ball valve to cut back on that side allowing the left to fill up. Then a bunch of small stuff, my brand new uv doesn't work, air pump is not big enough to move the K1 etc... Oh well life goes on...

Hey, I saw you were waiting for black colorquartz sand to arrive, where did you find it? I am currently searching for it as well. Thanks
