Soooo.....I'm down in Gulf Shores, Alabama and decided to ride around Foley looking around for a LFS and found one that sold Red Eared Sliders and decided I couldn't leave without two of them. The carrier isn't their permanent home, just needed something to get them home in which will be about 8 hours of fun

Those aren't Red Eared Sliders, they appear to be Yellow Belly Sliders instead

Haha, it happens. The one on the top right for sure is a YBS, you can tell by the Yellow horizontal Splotch

lol, honestly, I was maybe a little overexcited since this is the first time I've found a store with turtles so I just had to grab them while we were at the beach

Around here you can find Red Eared Sliders easily in stores, its the other species that one cannot find. The selection here is crap.

In Pa, the only turtle you can find is RES. They get huge, and no one knows this, so they buy them at quarter size, and when they are 8" people end up giving them away.

Won't be giving mine away, all my aquariums and other pets are the highlight of every day (sad isn't it lol) Well, in Tennessee, which is where I'll be heading back to early in the morning, turtles are a "no no" at the stores.
