I've always wondered how people gravel vac tanks with a lot of decoration...wouldn't it just mess everything up?

It does but it doesnt take very long to put it all back in and its nice to switch it up every once in a while.The geo's and the loaches do a fairly good job of sifting through the gravel.I water change weekly and do the gravel every month or so.

with the geos you may want to consider going sand, they'll be much happier with sand than gravel

Yea that geo loved the black sand in the other tank he was in.I was thinking of possibly putting a sand pile in a couple corners.He seems to love this gravel also.But the deal with going with black gravel was i got a couple hundred pounds for free so........sands great but economically in this case gravel was king.

i am looking everywhere for aquarium safe wood that looks like that and cant seem to find it?
