My Newest ]V[onster!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He's gonna get a lot bigger. My dad had a black volitan that was 18" long. Absolute terrors!!! You're gonna have to keep an eye on him when you clean the tank when he gets to that size.

Nice lion. Got anymore pics of the snowflake? Don't see 3 ft too often.

That is beautiful - can't wait until mine grows up a little bit!

How big is the tank you have the lionfish & the moray in?

Whoa...this thread came back from the dead. :D

Thanks for the comment. My salt tank is a 6x2. I'll probably upgrade to a 240 when I move, but I don't have too much in there that needs immediate attention.

Yeah, he's much bigger now. This thread is almost a year old, so he has GROWN. He broke the 1 foot mark...and he make cleaning the tank quite a project. He's so people oriented that he won't leave you alone when you're working. His dorsal has rubbed on my a few times, but he hasn't made any moves to actually inject venom...I think he's just interested in if I'm going to feed him or not. :D

Thanks. I do have some more pics...I'll post some this weekend. He hasn't broken the 3' mark, but he is one fat snowflake...I can tell you that much.

Thanks princess...interesting avatar...as usual. ;)

My dad's tried to bite his hand whenever he was cleaning. Yours sounds more docile than his, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

seems we have the same taste when it comes to alot of out fish ksb. I have a black voltain (just a little guy, 8 inches including fins) and a snowflake moray as well (also around 8 inches)

Gorgeous lion!!!!
