Hi all,

I'm planning my next build. Can I use plyform to build a tank? It looks more durable than regular ext plywood. My concern is it might be treated with some sort of chemical so the cement will not stick to it. If that's the case, the bonding between the sealer and the wood would be a concern. I'm planning ahead before the "boys" (not sure though) outgrow my 90g growout. Will get back at you for the next phase of this project. I think its better to ask questions one at a time. I have 4 months to finish this according to my estimate based on their growth rate. Thanks.

Hi,

Plyform is the type of plywood used in construction industry to form and contain poured cement on posts and beams. I get different answers from the hardware stores here. With so many experienced builders on this site I know one day someone will come across this thread and be able to answer my question. The boys are my 2 oscars, a sev and a GT. They're growing fast. Thanks.
