This is how I plan on laying everything out and, plumbing it. What do you think? Any suggestion would be GREAT! I am picking the 100gallon tank up tomorrow. I made the sump/wet dry out of a 35 gallon tank, and the refugium will be out of a 29gallon I already have up and running.

What kind of octopus do you have? I caught one down in the Keys but it didn't survive the trip home.

Octopus's are also the ultimate escape artist, the overflows will need fine mesh grilles to stop the 'puss from squeezing through them (they can get through any hole larger than their beak)

i dont have one yet, i am still not sure on what species i will get but probly a bimac from CA. since they are more readily advailable then most.. i have to get the tank all cycled first.. i am so excited! this is the biggest tank i have ever had!

Anybody ever heard of a brown octopus? I'm supposed to be getting one tomorrow but I'm worried about the water temp. I don't have a chiller on my tank and my water temp is 84. From what I've read, temp's need to be below 78.

put a tight lid on it.

Every time we catch one fishin, it manages to escape the live well we put it in, and sneak into the bait fish well... Berstrdos. then somebody always tries to put on a glove ang grab the darn thing which only pss's it off. then you have a 175Lbs+ man struggling with a 13 oz Octipi' .
