My Odd Couple (haitiensis)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
congrats...this isn't something that's going to happen very often. both are stunning fish. :)

Thanks guys. They are about 10" right now. I've had an offer to break them up for a female, but i'd have a real hard time deciding which one stays and which goes. I'm just going to let them stay the way they are for the time being. Here are a care a couple of more pics with better lighting.

Hmmmmm....I really do wonder what would happen :screwy:???

Nonetheless awesome fish! I need to get myself some odos soon!

If he added a female would one of the males not then pair up with her and then there would be all out war in the tank?

I had two female JD's and one male, once a pair formed I had to separate the 2nd lady as they nearly killed her!

They would most probably start fighting if i were to add a female. I have no intentions to add a female or anything else in there with them anymore. I tried adding a big pleco in with them and they beat it up pretty bad. I ended up taking it back out.
