my odd little oscar....

Fish with notched spines are pretty common. I've owned an albino Paradise fish, 2 of those GM zebra danios (one yellow, one pink), and an albino cory cat with notched spines. My ex-roommate still has the cory cat, and he had an angel with a notch that made it look like it had a horn.

Such a lovely fish . He is really different . I think , there is some deformation in its dorsal fin . But i like those fish . I also have one big 7'' tiger oscar .

No pics of the Danios unfortunately. They were too hindered by their deformity to survive in the tank I put them in. I made a mistake.

I'll see if I can get a pic of the Angel with the horn.

This is the best site to look at deformed fish:

I have an angelfish that has a part in his dorsal fin making him look like a punk.

Not a problem. I have a tendency to pick up deformed fish when I see them (as long as I can house them for life). The LFS I frequent will usually give them to me at 50% off. The majority of deformities I have seen in person have been notched spines. I've also owned a female Betta with a severe underbite and a pink GM Zebra Danio with a hump back. If I can dig up any more pics I'll post them.
