how's your new platinum doing?

Still on quarantine. It got some tiny worm like all over the body. However I got a perfect shape one this time. Not like the first one that it got one eye looking upward and with some deformed finlets. I'll post the pics very soon on a new tread. So I got a score on this one. Although it cost a lot, but it's worth it.

Nice collection! Sooooooon... I get my 180 and my sen gets some bichir tankmates... the collection will begin!

Hehehe.... Polypterus are the best fish to collect! Good luck collecting your bichir and please share some pics too!

Start with a sene/albino sene or an ornates. Then followed by polli and delhezi. Then later on an endli and the rest of the bichirs species soon start to come till you just wanna keep all the known species, reginal varaint, color/pattern morph and some unique looking ones out there.

Already got one senegal bichir who's doing pretty good so far. (except an incident where he swallowed a piece of gravel... which has now earned him the name Lumpy... ) He's about 3 1/2" to 4". I'm not too big on albino variants, but I know as soon as I get the 180 I want to get another sen (or 2 ) an ornate, 2 delhezi, and then go from there. I'll have to look but I believe the only pics I have are when he was a bit smaller an ate a neon tetra... you could see it perfectly through his stomach and he floated for nearly 2 days.
