How the heck did you get your anubias to be neutrally buoyant?

How did that mix work for you?

Ha! It was weighted with lead wraps but outgrew them and stayed mid water lol ... had to move on the black shark (too aggro) and the goldfish ... and corys before they got eaten but the cichlids were very chilled ... ended up being more or less a rescue tank from people's rejects ... except the ebjd

Did you remove the goldfish so that it wouldn't get eaten or for another reason? Looks pretty huge to get eaten. I've always loved the idea of having goldfish with my cichlids but been too chicken to try it lol!

I like the set up. As weird as it is I like it. In my 120g I had a 7-8" male flowerhorn, 3 4" silver dollars, a 3" female convict and a 4" goldfish. The flowerhorn chased everything.... but the goldfish. Not a torn fin on him. I had it initially to cycle a tank and it's just moved from cichlid tank to cichlid tank of mine. Right now it's in with about 20 1-1.5" HRP grow outs lol
