Looking good D, thanks for sharing. Mine started showing some pretty good coloration around the 2"-2.5"TL mark. The male in my avatar is right about 3.5" if that's any indicator. Certain indeviduals in my group of 9 seem to grow much slower and have less color. I am making the assumption these are females as the larger more colorful ones appear to be male.

exactly the same here, my biggest ones are 2"-3" and just starting to really color up, while i feel like some of them havent grown at all

absolutely stunning display, what was your staple diet, i have them on 2mm kens sinking groth pellets but they are still growing so slow! do you think part of the quick growth rate of yours had to do with them being araguia rather than tapajos? i noticed that they seemed to color up pretty late?

Variety of NLS pellets, 1mm maximum size for adults and crushed when the fish were smaller. Treated with Hikari Bio-Pure frozen range, mostly Bloodworm (which I'm now off), Spiraluna Brine Shrimp, Mysis Shrimp.
